The first of these features are the game's new units, of which there are 10 including the Templar, Christian Sergeant, Healer, Dervish and more. Another features is the announcement of 8 AI enemy characters at launch, with a further 8 coming out after release.^[1] A third feature that was shown is co-op multiplayer, in which 2 players take control of a single castle to share units and resources while fighting against common enemies.^[7] There will be eight different AI characters featured in the game at launch, including the Caliph^[8] and the Shah.^[9]
